Dredgers of Ukraine has extended its cooperation with SDEC (Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Co., Ltd.) for 2023

Dredgers of Ukraine's wide range of dredgers and related equipment now also includes electric submersible pumps.
This type of pump is indispensable for deep-water work or when operating in places where a dredger with a suction head simply has no room to maneuver. The pump design allows them to be used for cleaning wells and settling tanks, metallurgical plant tailings, sand, sapropel and gravel mining, and dredging.
The high-alloy steel used for the pump casing and working parts allows them to handle slurry with a high content of abrasive particles. The capacity of these pumps can reach 1000 m³/h, with a maximum head of 70 m and power consumption of 110 kW.

Today a DRW-8DLE dredger was shipped to a client in Central Africa. It is equipped with a pump that guarantees a capacity of up to 400 m³/h and a head of up to 50 meters. The dredger delivers the extracted material over a horizontal distance of up to 1000 m.
The dredger's pontoons are made of plastic, which reduced the weight of the entire structure to 6.3 tonnes and the vessel's draft to 0.3 m.
The operator's cabin is equipped with everything needed for the dredge operator to work efficiently; the viewing glass covers the maximum possible area and allows unobstructed monitoring of the dredger's operation.

Dredgers of Ukraine specialists carried out an initial consultation and calculations for dredging works in the forebay of a power unit at the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant.
An optimal solution was proposed for the requested works, including the selection of a dredger capable of performing the dredging most efficiently in the shortest possible time with minimal maintenance costs.

At the end of September 2021, construction of the DRW-12D dredger was completed, followed by commissioning directly at the work site.
The dredger was built in accordance with the requirements of the technical specification; its capacity can reach 2000 m³ per hour at a depth of up to 13 m.
The dredger is equipped with a wear-resistant pump capable of handling highly abrasive mixtures containing particles up to 220 mm in diameter. The pump can provide a head of up to 58 m and deliver the mixture over a distance of up to 800 m.

Updated horizontal single-stage slurry pumps manufactured by Dredgers of Ukraine are now available to order.
The pumps can handle up to 4000 m³ of slurry per hour and pass mixtures containing large particles up to 254 mm in diameter.
Thanks to the use of high-strength steel with a hardness of up to 64 HRC for the pump casing, as well as the liner plates and impeller, the service life of such a pump increases to 5 years when handling highly abrasive mixtures.

Mobile amphibious dredgers are now available in the Dredgers of Ukraine model range. These unique machines deserve attention for their versatility, as they can move and maneuver independently between land and water.

A floating pump platform on plastic pontoons was manufactured to order. Thanks to this design solution, customers can make their pump mobile and eliminate a number of inconveniences associated with regularly moving the pump along the shore, as well as avoid dependence on the water level.
The pump platform is a non-collapsible metal hull with six plastic pontoons attached to the bottom to provide buoyancy.

At the end of February this year, commissioning of the newly built DRW-800/40D diesel dredger was successfully completed. Despite difficult weather conditions, the dredger was successfully launched, and all systems were started, tested and made ready for operation.
The dredger can pump up to 800 m³ of mixture per hour, or up to 240 m³ of dry solids per hour. The head is up to 40 m, and the maximum slurry transport distance through the discharge pipeline is 700 m. The dredger can operate at depths of up to 8 m and pump mixtures containing particles up to 120 mm in size.

For the DRW-1600/25D dredger previously built by our company for a client, a non-reversible cutter made of high-strength steel was manufactured to order for working with soils containing a large amount of highly abrasive particles.
With a hydraulic cutter included, the dredger's functionality and scope of application are significantly expanded, allowing it to work safely with sand-gravel mixtures or clay.

This week a DRW-65 amphibious excavator was shipped to Zaporizhzhia. It is a unique machine capable of bottom cleaning, removing grass and reeds, carrying out construction work, laying cables and pipes underwater, and working in swampy areas and difficult soils.
The excavator can operate at depths of up to 7 meters, move on water using two installed propellers, and work with a 0.3 m³ bucket, unloading the excavated soil into a pontoon-mounted dump barge with a capacity of up to 4 m³.
