Bathymetric survey

Innovative bathymetric surveys of various natural and man-made water bodies
Over the past 3 years, our specialists have carried out a number of scientific, methodological and commercial surveys on the Black Sea shelf and on the Dnipro, Southern Bug, Irsha, Uzh and Desna rivers. In particular, a bathymetric survey of 5 Kyiv bridges was performed on the Dnipro. Sonar surveys have also been carried out in countries of Africa and Europe.
We use the full range of available underwater mapping equipment and high-resolution satellite imagery.
The deliverables are bottom relief maps in the form of isobaths with depths indicated to an accuracy of 0.05 m, color-graded depth maps, and 3D models of the bottom relief. The classic isobath presentation is duplicated by digital depth rasters in standard exchange formats.
We use modern licensed hydrological and GIS software, including ReefMaster, Sonar Viewer, ESRI ArcGIS, MapInfo Professional and other supporting software.
These surveys make it possible to promptly address the following tasks:
- verifying and correcting the accuracy of navigation charts;
- hydrographic surveys to ensure navigation safety (detecting zones hazardous to ships, boats and other craft, determining their coordinates and marking them with buoys);
- marking safe underwater zones at beaches; searching for and surveying sunken objects;
- survey and inspection of underwater pipelines and utilities;
- underwater technical inspection of hydraulic structures;
- mapping the distribution of bottom flora and fauna;
- compiling and updating bathymetric maps;
preliminary assessment of the qualitative and quantitative - characteristics of bottom sediments (silt, sand);
identifying bottom traps favorable for the concentration of valuable components in placer mineral deposits;
Our team has all the equipment needed for sonar surveys, as well as many years of experience, which allows us to make optimal use of time and minimize costs and risks.

PRIMARY DATA COLLECTION
The data collected during reconnaissance surveys include: coordinates, date, time of measurement, depth (accuracy 0.1 m), and bottom sediment hardness index data (roughly silt, sand, rock). Sounding rate: 10–20 measurements per second.
SOIL DIFFERENTIATION (BASED ON SONAR DATA)
GROUND-PENETRATING RADAR DATA ARE USED IN THREE STAGES:
Survey
Interpretation
Spatial modeling of the geological environment (structures)
INTERPRETATION OF GPR DATA
MODELING OF THE GEOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT (STRUCTURES) BASED ON GPR DATA
