Dredger DRW-400/40 ($35,000, negotiable) (SOLD)

The DRW-400 dredger with the installed GrAT 400/40 pump is designed for use at mining and processing and mining and metallurgical enterprises, thermal power plants, cement plants, diamond and gold mining enterprises, crushing and mineral processing lines and similar industries.

Assuming a discharge pipeline length of 200 m and a geodetic lift of no more than 5 m, this model nominally produces 120 m³ per hour, or 1200 m³ per 10 hours of operation. With a sand density of 1.3 tons per cubic meter, the weight of the extracted sand is 1560 tons. Energy consumption for extracting 1560 tons of sand will be 1400 kWh per 10 hours. Nominal diesel fuel consumption for 10 hours of operation is 1400 kWh × 0.226 l/kWh = 316.4 liters. From this calculation we conclude that extracting 1560 tons of sand requires 316.4 liters of diesel fuel. Fuel consumption per ton of sand is 316.4 liters / 1560 tons = 0.2 liters per ton.
