Returns policy for defective goods

The Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection" governs relations between the seller and individual buyers who purchase, order, use or intend to purchase or order goods (works, services) for their own household needs.

It should be understood that the Law does not apply to relations concerning the manufacture and sale of goods, performance of works and provision of services by a citizen who is not an entrepreneur, nor to cases where goods are purchased or services are used solely for business activities or by enterprises, institutions and organisations.

It should be borne in mind that the relations governed by the Law include, in particular, those arising from contracts of sale, property lease (including the lease (rental) of residential premises — insofar as it concerns relations between the tenant (lessee) and the landlord (lessor) who is at the same time the provider of utility services and of repair services for the housing stock and engineering equipment), household rental, gratuitous use of property, work contracts (including household orders or subscription services), agency, carriage of citizens and their cargo, commission, storage and insurance, as well as from contracts for the provision of financial and credit services to meet citizens' own household needs (including the granting of loans, opening and maintaining accounts, settlement transactions, acceptance and safekeeping of securities, and provision of consulting services). Consumer rights protection relations may also arise from legislative acts or other agreements that do not contradict the Law.
